22-year-old Jeremy Flores of France pumps his arms in victory after emerging from a good tube ride in the process of defeating 10-time ASP World Surfing Champion Kelly Slater on Flores’ way to winning the world’s most prestigious and longest running professional surfing event: the Billabong Pipe Master at the Banzai Pipeline Haleiwa, Hawaii on December 16, 2010. Flores is the first European surfer in the 40-year history of this event to enter the champion’s honor roll. The Billabong Pipe Master is the third and final stage of the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing which is considered the most prestigious annual title in surfing next to the ASP World Title.
