2010 Tour of California: The Peloton queues up for Stage-1 start

Stage-1, which started in rural Nevada City, meandered for 104.3 miles through the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains before finishing with three laps around the capitol mall in metropolitan Sacramento. HTC-Columbia’s Mark Cavendish won stage-1 with a time of 4:04:45 and is the leader of the General Classification.
